In the first instance pleae contact us. You can do so by either calling us, sending us an email or completing our online form here. Please remember to include the date you require the cake for and the number of servings you would like the cake to offer.
The amount of notice needed really does depend upon the type of cake that you require and the number of other cakes booked in for that date. We always have bookings running into the next 12 months and are generally fully booked 2 - 4 weeks in advance. We do sometimes have last minute availability so If you are interested in ordering a cake within a short time frame please contact us ASAP as we may be able to help.
As each cake is different it is impossible to standardise a price. All of our cakes displayed on our website have a "from" price next to them as a guide. The price displayed is for the smallest size available based upon that design.
Factors which affect the price include :-
Hand made models and sugar flowers are time consuming to make and are therfore reflected in the price charged. All of our designs can be altered to try and fit within your budget. We also have a range of Value Cakes that you can find here...
A 30% non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due upon collection or 1 week before for cakes being delivered. For Wedding Cakes, the balance must be paid 4 weeks prior to the wedding day.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, credit card or direct bank transfer.
Credit Card, cheque and bank transfers must be cleared before collection / delivery
We are based in Woodley, Reading, Berkshire and can deliver to surrounding areas for an additional charge and depending upon availability. The charge is dependant upon location and is calculated upon distance and time. Due to their fragile nature we do not post or offer courier delivery.
All of our cakes are provided upon 12mm thick cake board and placed inside a box for easy transportation which is included in the price of your cake. Cupcakes are supplied in custom boxes to prevent movement during transportation.
Whats inside my cake.....?
The majority of our sponge cakes are 4" deep and have 3 layers of sponge coated in a white chocolate ganache. This not only helps to seal moisture into the cake but also provides a perfect base for the icing. For the filling, we like to use a luxurious Swiss Meringue Buttercream. It is an extremely smooth buttercream made with Egg whites, sugar and butter. We also use seedless raspberry jam.
Our moist chocolate cakes are made using the finest belgian chocolate. They are then filled and coated with the finest Belgian chocolate ganache.
Sorry, we do not currently produce eggless, dairy free, or gluten free cakes.
